BBC Radio 4′s consumer programme You & Yours on Friday 6th January featured many concerns about the ethics and practices of Global Personals, the company which runs websites which facilitate and encourage people to have affairs.Click on the link below to listen to a 2 minute section of the programme which featured our campaign and Global Personal’s response to our accusation that their work is ‘toxic and ethically shabby’.
Faithfulness Matters on BBC Radio 4
We believe that Global Personals illustrate very clearly in the programme their lack of concern for ethics or for how the websites which they operate affect people’s lives.
Sadly Ashley Madison has started advertising in New Zealand. They started with a press release that noted the types of people who have affairs. Ofcourse it was sensationalised by the media as just about every type of person was included in there list! Their websites tag line reads “Life is Short. Have and affair”. TradeMe (a kind of ebay with messageboards) is talking about it on a number of threads. As of today they all know about “Faithfullness Matters” too…
Not only was there marketing aimed to sesationalise it is also IMO an attack of anyone with conservative values… http://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/news/article.cfm?c_id=6&objectid=10781228
